1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you access a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, keep your session active, and remember your preferences between visits.
2. How Tracknana Uses Cookies
Tracknana uses cookies exclusively for functional and analytical purposes. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for commercial purposes.
3. Types of Cookies Used
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the platform to function. Without them, the service will not work correctly. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
access_token | JWT access token (HttpOnly, Secure) that authenticates your API requests | 15 minutes |
refresh_token | Refresh token (HttpOnly, Secure, path restricted to /api/v2/auth) that allows renewing your access token without logging in again | 7 days |
csrf_token | Protection against CSRF (cross-site request forgery) attacks | Session |
Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 7, V, LGPD) — necessary to provide the service.
3.2 Configuration Preferences
Your language, theme, and initial setup preferences are stored on the server, linked to your user profile — not in browser cookies. This means your preferences follow you on any device after login.
Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 7, V, LGPD) — part of the user profile.
3.3 Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Identifies the user across sessions for behavioral analysis | 12 months |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Connects pageviews to a single session | 1 day |
CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Identifies first-time Clarity usage | 12 months |
About Microsoft Clarity: We use Clarity strictly for interface analysis (session recordings and heatmaps). Data sharing features with the Microsoft Advertising network are disabled. For more information: privacy.microsoft.com.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX, LGPD) for product improvement; consent where required by applicable law.
3.4 Cookies We Do NOT Use
Tracknana does not use:
- ❌ Advertising or retargeting cookies
- ❌ Social media cookies (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, etc.) on the platform
- ❌ Third-party cookies for commercial purposes
- ❌ Cross-site tracking cookies
4. Third-Party Cookies
When you link your Ad Platform accounts (Google, Meta, TikTok) or use external integrations, these platforms may set their own cookies on your devices according to their respective privacy policies. Tracknana does not control these cookies.
5. localStorage and Browser Storage
In addition to cookies, Tracknana uses the browser's localStorage for:
- Storing temporary interface preferences
- The UTM Tracking Script (when deployed on third-party pages by the User) stores UTM parameters in the visitor's localStorage for up to 30 days — this storage occurs on the visitor's device and does not send data to Tracknana's servers
6. How to Manage Your Cookies
In Your Browser
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Refer to your browser's instructions:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services
⚠️ Warning: Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the platform from functioning correctly — you will not be able to log in.
For Microsoft Clarity Specifically
You can opt out of Clarity tracking at: clarity.microsoft.com/opt-out.
7. Do Not Track (DNT) Signals
Tracknana honors Do Not Track (DNT) signals from browsers where technically feasible. When we detect a DNT signal, we disable analytics cookies and limit data collection to what is strictly necessary for the service to function.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies from the service, or when applicable legislation changes. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this document. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on the platform.
